Review: LEGO 75153 AT-ST Walker

Name: AT-ST Walker
Set Number: 75153
Pieces: 449
Price: $39.99
Minifigures: 3
Theme: Star Wars
Year of Release: 2016

Since Star Wars Rogue One is coming out soon, new Lego sets such as this one are being released. This AT-ST Walker (a.k.a. the Ewok killer) is the fourth design of this model. It is bigger and more detailed than it's last design. This build took me about 30 minutes to complete. I started this set by building the exclusive minifigures.
I began with Baze Malbus. The new Star Wars movie hasn't been released yet, so I don't much about him. From the minifigure, I assume he's going to be a big and intimidating from the size of his gun and the scar on his face. Baze's minifigure is the most detailed of all three minifigures. He also has two faces, one angry and one grinning. The rebel trooper has a custom helmet and I've noticed that more recently, blasters have an extra piece at the end to mimic a different weapon rather than just having everyone having the same blaster. Lastly, the imperial officer is a generic officer who goes into the AT-ST. The imperial also has two faces, one serious and one grinning. All the minifigures go well together to reenact a rebel surprise attack on a walker.

Next I built the AT-ST. It features are: movable legs, a wheel-activated turning top piece, an opening cockpit with top hatch, slightly detailed interior, two spring-loaded shooters, two front guns, two guns on the left and a rocket launcher on the right. The exterior looks better than the inside in my opinion. Also the legs are stiff to move, but you can use your imagination to make the legs move more fluidly. The vehicle as a whole is very impressive/intimidating.

As a whole, this set is great. The price to piece/minifigure is reasonable and its play features are fantastic. All the minifigures are exclusive to this set which makes it even more valuable. I would rate this set 5/5. I hope this review was helpful to all who read it and that you continue to love LEGOS!

Review: LEGO 76031 The Hulk Buster Smash

Name: The Hulk Buster Smash
Set Number: 76031
Pieces: 248
Price: $29.99
Minifigures: 4
Theme: Marvel Super Heroes – Avengers
Year of Release: 2015

The Hulkbuster is one of my favorite Lego sets EVER! When the Hulkbuster scene was shown in the Avengers 2, I instantly wanted it in Lego form. It took me about 10 minutes to build. I first started by building the minifigures.
I built Scarlet Witch first. She looks like how she looks like in the movies. I really liked that they gave her a calm face and an angry face with red eyes. Then I built the hulk. This Hulk looks absolutely amazing! Compared to the other hulk big figure, this hulk is a darker grey, hair is messier, the face is a little angrier, and the pants are a darker purple with red streaks. This hulk portrays the hulk from the Avengers 2 movie perfectly. Next, I built Ultron. He is very mechanical looking as well as menacing. The color scheme of the dark grey and red looks fantastic. Lego Ultron also looks like the movie Ultron. Lastly, I built Iron Man. I liked how that Iron Man's suit has a different suit than other sets which shows off that he has lots of suits. All of these minifigures are great and when you play with them, they make you feel like you're in the movie!

Afterwards I built the Hulkbuster and the capture pod. The capture pod is tiny and just okay. Unlike in the movie, the capture pod is up to the hulk's chest rather than completely encapsulating him. But what everyone likes and needs from this set is the Hulkbuster. You can put Iron Man in the suit and the Hulkbuster's right arm has a stud shooter. The body is made up of technic pieces and are covered by smooth pieces. I love the Hulkbuster and it's perfect to play with or show off.

Overall, the whole set is amazing. The minifigures and the Hulkbuster are a ton of fun to play with and show off. The set is priced really well to piece count and the characters you get. I would rate the set 5/5. I hope this review was helpful to all who read it and that you continue to love LEGOS!

Review: LEGO 76055 Batman: Killer Cro Sewer Smash

Name: Batman: Killer Croc's Sewer Smash
Set Number: 76055
Pieces: 759
Price: $79.99
Minifigures: 5
Theme: DC Comics Super Heroes – Batman
Year of Release: 2016

I found this set one of the more interesting ones. This set being the "Batman Killer Croc Sewer Smash." It's a medium size set which takes up a bit of room when built. I built this set in around 40 minutes to hour. I began first by building the minifigures of the set.
The first minifigure I built was batman. Visually, Batman looks nice, but there are a few weird aspects about him. He comes with two batarangs and a grappling gun. His chest piece has clean and very detailed markings to represent his chest and utility belt. The legs are a light gray color with no special markings on them. Batman's head has two faces, a dark tan, and a white headband. When you put his helmet on, the white headband acts as his eyes. Overall, Batman looks good, but his tan is a little too much added detail. After I built batman I built Captain Boomerang. He comes with two boomerangs. Like Batman, his chest is very detailed and his legs are just solid black colored. Captain Boomerang looks like how he was portrayed in the Suicide Squad movie with big red haired sideburns and a blue bandanna on his head. He is a simple minifigure and a great looking one too! Next, I built Killer Croc. Killer Croc isn't a minifigure, he is a big figure. His face and bodied are detailed and scary looking. I really enjoy the way he looks and think that he is a great collection piece. The next minifigure I built was Red Hood. He's one of those less known heroes, but is still awesome. Red Hood comes with two guns. His body is detailed and his legs are plain. His head reminds me of the Black Panther head as they both have just their eyes showing and have a few facial expression lines. Finally, I built the last of the minifigures, Katana. She comes with one sword(katana). Her body has simple details, but they are all over her body. Her arms have armor, her face has a mask, her legs have two colors, and her chest has armor looking details. All of the minifigures together make an awesome scene and are great for display or for playing with.

Then I moved onto the vehicles. The first vehicle I made was Killer Croc's Chomper. This vehicle doesn't appeal to me. It's cool that Killer Croc got his own vehicle, but it's not structurally or visually good looking. Captain Boomerang is given a side seat on this vehicle which is colored differently and takes away from the main vehicle visually. The mouth is supposed to open when the left wheel spins and it does, but it barely opens. The mouth opens a little more when going in reverse. Also, when the mouth opens, you can see all the technical pieces which I wish had been covered up a little. The tail is probably one of the cooler aspects about this piece. You have to manually move the tail, but I don't think that's a problem. Moving on to the next vehicle, Red Hood's motorcycle. It looks like a generic motorcycle. The Two stickers you put on it make it look more like a cool Batman motorcycle. I liked how the motorcycle turned out. The last vehicle is the Bat-tank. This is the best vehicle of the set. The design is sleek and the treads make it look like a tank. The main feature of this vehicle is its ram weapon that flips vehicles that the Bat-tank goes into. You twist a lever on the back of the tank to activate the ram flipper. The only thing I don't like about this vehicle is that you have to spin the stud shooter at the front manually and that there is no technical piece you can twist/pull to spin it

Overall, the decision is up to you to buy this set. I bought it for the minifigures that are exclusive to this set and for the Bat-tank. The pricing is good for the piece count and the exclusive minifigures you are given. You can play with this set, but personally, I would just play with the minifigures and the Bat-tank. I would rate this set 3/5. I hope this review was helpful to all who read it and that you continue to love LEGOS!

Review: LEGO 76036 Carnage's SHIELD Sky Attack

Name: Carnage's SHIELD Sky Attack
Set Number: 76036

Pieces: 97
Price: $12.99
Minifigures: 3
Theme: Marvel Super Heroes – Ultimate Spiderman
Year of Release: 2016

For my first review I thought it would be good to start with a small set. This set just happens to be the "Carnage SHIELD Sky Attack." If you want a small and easy build, this is the one for you. It took me about 15 minutes to build. I started off by building the minifigures (each minifigure in this set are currently exclusive to this set).

Carnage was the first figure I built. Visually, he looks absolutely amazing. Carnage is scary, red, and ferocious looking even without his attached tentacles. The tentacles are connected to Carnage by a piece you put under his head that bends down his back. You then attach the tentacles contraption you build to that piece on his back. The only thing that I didn't like about him was that you have to bend one of the tentacles either backwards or forward in order to allow him to stand up straight. Besides that, Carnage is good looking and a perfect edition to any collection. The next minifigure I built was Spiderman. This Spiderman is Miles Morales. He wears a beautiful black suit with red highlights and red hands. His detailing on his body are different than the original Spiderman minifigure which I will show below. Overall, this Spiderman looks awesome and I'm glad I have him. The Last minifigure I built was the SHIELD agent. The agent is is well detailed and has two faces. The first face is a confident face and the second is a scared face. No sets exclusively have SHIELD agents, so getting this guy allows you to start your SHIELD agent army!

After I built the minifigures, I moved onto the SHIELD ship. The design of the ship is sleek and a little bulky in the front. There are only 4 stickers on the ship located at the back of the ship, on the engines and on the cockpit window. Some of the features of the ship are: moving the engines up and down, moving the flaps, shooting two shooters at the front of the ship, storing items in a small compartment, and opening/closing the cockpit so that a minifigure can sit in the pilot's seat. The ship is very play friendly and small. You could easily put it on your desk and play with it when you are bored or just stare at it in amusement.

Overall I think that this is a great buy. It's cheap, small, fun to play with, and you get exclusive minifigures that you don't get in any other set! I would rate this set a 5/5. I hope this review was helpful to all who read it and that you continue to love LEGOS!
